My wife asked them for a quote which they came out and conducted, then wouldn't get back to us with a price. She called and left messages 5 times as the person who came to conduct the quote was certain they could help. The people in the office were dismissive and didn't seem to care about whether or not they could help us. My wife persisted as the guy who came to our house was friendly and she felt obligated to use him for our move. Today, after 10 days of getting stuffed around, they finally returned her call and said that their "truck wasn't big enough to fit our stuff" so they cant help us! What a massive stuff around.
Would highly recommend these guys. I was very nervous about moving after living in my property for 18 years. Settlement for my sale and purchase occurred on the same day, and without the good advice from Julie, I would have been stuck! The removal guys, Jacob and Kurt were fantastic! They didn't break or damage or forget anything, I am so glad I went with this company. Thank you so much!
In May Williamson Bros completed our interstate move from Qld to Vic. This was a very large move with additional items having to be added to the loads from country NSW and Sydney. Julie in the office was very thorough, helpful and coordinated the move brilliantly. All the guys who loaded and unloaded did a great job. Wont be unpacking boxes for some months yet so cant comment on any possible damage. Furniture also stored for the time being and apart from one small shelf unit being broken, nothing notable at this stage. Considering the size of the move, not unhappy with this outcome. They were well priced and had the required sized trucks we needed. Would certainly recommend Williamson Bros.
I used this company in March this year. It was the worst moving experience of my life. Most of my furniture was damaged to some degree from things rubbing against each other due to inadequate padding blankets. At least two boxes of goods disappeared, including half my everyday dinner set. Boxes marked Fragile were stacked from floor to ceiling so inevitably there were a lot of breakages. Management were totally unhelpful, suggesting I imagined I owned these things. They may have a good team but I certainly got a very bad one.
I used Williamson Bros in June for a small move from Port Macquarie to Goulburn. Could not be happier with the excellent service from every single member of staff l spoke to. Office staff were extremely helpful and the two men who loaded and delivered my items were exceptional. Compared to other removal companies i have used i thought the price i was quoted was very reasonable and l would not hesitate to use Williamson Bros again or refer them to others. Sandy Pettitt
